Joyce A. Banjac, Ph.D. is the President of the First Generation Foundation, a 501 (c) (3), dedicated to inspiring, assisting and supporting students who are first in their families to attend college.
A veteran of higher education, Joyce has held senior-level college and university positions—as interim university president of Myers University (Cleveland, Ohio), Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs at Jefferson College (Hillsboro, Missouri) and Dean of Academic Affairs at Cuyahoga Community College (Cleveland, Ohio), and is a member of the teaching faculty at Baldwin Wallace University (Berea, Ohio).
Banjac completed her undergraduate degree in business/economics and MBA from Baldwin Wallace University. She graduated with a Ph.D. in Adult Education from the University of Akron in 2000, and studied leadership and business strategy at Harvard University and Case Western Reserve University—earning certificates of completion.
